Seminar "Designing Your Life"

The Criminology Department of Dhaka University, in collaboration with the Quantum Foundation, organized a seminar titled "Designing Your Life" with the goal of promoting the mental well-being and development of students. This seminar took place on October 2, 2023, in the classroom of the Social Science Faculty at Dhaka University. The Quantum Foundation is an organization dedicated to personal growth and service to humanity. It has established numerous centers of influence around the country, which operate on a quantum method—a powerful process that can help you start from scratch, transform crises into opportunities, and awaken your hidden potential, turning scarcity into abundance, failure into success, and disease into wellness. The seminar was specifically designed for students who may be facing various mental challenges. Its main objective was to empower university students to transform their lives in a meaningful way by providing them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and insights. The seminar was attended by the respected Chairperson of the Criminology Department, Shaharia Afrin, faculty members of the department, and students from various academic years. During the closing speech, Chairperson Shaharia Afrin expressed gratitude to the organizers and volunteers of the Quantum Foundation. She emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy and productive academic environment for the well-being of students at Dhaka University. She assured that the Criminology Department is committed to the mental health of students because a healthy and productive academic environment is essential for them. She also expressed confidence in the involvement of students in any future initiatives of the Criminology Department.
